Winchmoro Hack Handicap, of 100 sovs; six furlongs.—l Lord Thomond, 8.0 (A. E. Ellis), 1; 1 Painkiller, 8.6, 2; 2 Red Royal, 7.12, 3. Scratched: Tariff. Won by two lengths, a length. Time, 1.13. Lord Thomond and Painkiller were bracketed. Melrose Trot, of 105 sovs; two miles; 4.56 class.—B Oinadora, scr (J. Mel.ennan), 1; 14 Belle Somorton, scr, 2; 9 Little Victor, scr, 3. Scratched: Playwave. Won by two lengths and half a length. Time, 4.39 4-5. Tinwald Handicap, of 150 sovs; one mile and a quarter.—2 Glenrowan, 7.10 (L. J. Ellis), 1; 1 Beau Geste, 8.8, 2. They wet'3 the only rtarters. Glenrowan led all the way and won by a length. Time, 2.8. Laghmor Plate, of 100 sovs; five tue- ! longs:—6 Solwit, 8.4 (W. Pascoo), 1; 2 Segravo, 8.10, 2; 1 Night Recital, 8.4, 3. Scratched: Valpine, Bronzewoocl, Skysign, Mistress, Quickly, Tautbow, Lady Valkyrie and Isabella. Solwit and Segrave led all the way. Won by two lengths, a length. Time, 60. 3-5 Moreton Hack, of 100 sovs; one mile, -4 Ball Dress, 7.10 (R, Coveny), lj 2 Pharaoh, 7.13, 2; 1 Night Parade, 7.9, 3. Scratched: Shortly, Dumblane. A shocking start was made. Ball Dress won easily by four lengths with Night Parade another three lengths away. Ramo was fourth Time 1.40.
