MAITAI LODGE
INSTALLATION OF OFFICERS The fortnightly meeting of Maitai Lodge, U.A.0.D., was held in the Orange Hall, Collingwood street, last evening. There was a very large attendance of members, including visitors from Murchison, Wakefield and Otaki. Two female candidates were initiated into the Order. The District President, Bro. B. Lawson, assisted by P.O.P. Bro. J. Simpson, installed the following officers into their respective positions:—J.P.A, Bro. Hill, A.D., Bro. S. Stevens; V.A., Bro. A. Morgan ; secretary, Bro. T. Vercoe; treasurer, Bro. K. Jones; I. G., Bro. I .Bensemann; 0.G., Bro. W. Trott; A.D.B's, Bros. Preen and Pickwell; V.A.B's, Sisters Hill and Wilkcns; organist, Bro. Pickwell; Minute secretary, Bro. C. A. Burn; M.C., Bro. J. Simpson. At the conclusion of lodge business supper was served and a pleasant hour was spent by all.
