(Received sth November, 1 p.m.) LONDON, 4th November. A message from Nantes states that the Papanui, hound from Port Pirie to Avonnlouth, collided with a lighter and two tugs at St. Nazaire docks. The steamer was not damaged, hut the tugs were slightly and the lighter seriously damaged.' • The Papanui was about to 1 sail to-day when the owners of the tugs and lighter demanded 100,000 francs. This was not provided though the agent offered a personal guarantee pending an arrangement with the underwriters. The vessel has therefore been arrested.
