(Received sth November, 8.35/a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. Mr R. P. Allen, chief veterinary officer of tin; Department of Markets, issued a report advising growers in Australia to raise fat lambs for export of the type produced in New Zealand, which are the best in the world. He says that the breeds are largely confined to tlie Down ae, also Border Leicester and RomMarsh. He is oi the opinion that the production in many places in Australia of well-formed, nice, sappy lambs with a maximum of bloorn .should not be difficult, and should seriously compete with New Zealand supplies.
