GLIDING FEAT
DEMONSTRATION BY AUSTRIAN

LONDON, 15th June. Robert Kronfeld, the Austrian gliding ace, demonstrated'for the British Gliding Association near Lewes. He flew in a straight line along the south downs, landing near Portsmouth 70 miles away, in three hours.
Mr Gordon England, chairman of the Gliding Association, describes the achievement as marvellous, proving that Britain is an ideal country for gliding.
