BEQUESTS TO CHARITIES

WELLINGTON, This Day.

Charitable bequests amounting to £3500 are made to Wellington institutions under the will of the late Mr James McMenamen, of Island Bay, who died on 14th April in his eightieth year. The sum of £SOO is also bequeathed to a Chicago hospital. The following are the bequests: Anglican Boys' Home, Lower Hutt, £1000; Presbyterian Boys Orphanage, Berhampore, £1000; Presbyterian Girls' Orphanage, Berhampore, £1000; Mother Superior Home of Compassion, Island Bav, £500; Mercy Hospital, Chicago, £SOO.
