Board of Trade returns show that imports decreased £12,385,000, exports £16,424,000; re-exports £1,395,0UU. Principal decreases were : —lmports, grain and flour £1,461,000, non-dutiable food and drink £1,681,000, raw cotton £1,907,000, raw wool £2,874,000. Exports iron and steel manufactures £1,772,000; machinery £1,057,000; cotton yarns manufactures £4,481,000; woollen yarns manufactures £l, i6b,UUU.
