Knight Bachelor.—Alfred Seymour Bankart, M. 8.5., of Auckland. C.M.G. Companion of the Most Distinguished Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.).—Robert Albert Anderson, of Invercargill; Paul D. N. Verschaffelt, Public Service Commissioner, Wellingtin. N.S. WALES LIST SYDNEY, 2nd June. The birthday honours for New South Wales are:— Knight Bachelor.—Alexander Gordon, former Judge of tho Supreme Court. C.B.E.—G. Layton, Town. Clerk of tho City of Sydney; Julian Ashton, artist. M.B.E.—Mrs Ellen Leahy.
