WAIKATO WINTER SHOW

HAMILTON, This Day. . Speaking at the opening of the Waikato Winter Show, His Excellency the Governor-General (Lord Bledisloe) said that the chief and most hopeful economic development in New Zealand was in the sphere of dairy enterprise, and nowhere was this development more marked than in the Waikato area. Speaking as one who on more than one occasion had been president of the great London Dairy Show, Lord Bledisloe said that lie was greatly impressed with the excellence of the dairy exhibits at the Waikato Winter Show, and congratulated its promoters on the record entry of butter and cheese. _
