MESSRS MURDOCH AND SMITH REARRANGEMENT OF PORTFOLIOS HON. H. ATM ORE RETAINS EDUCATION (By Telegraph—Press Association) WELLINGTON, This Day. It is announced that Mr Murdoch, member for Marsden and Chief Government Whip, and Mr Smith, member for New Plymouth and Chairman of Committees, will be the new Ministers. The following are given as the new portfolios:— \ THE HON. G. W. FORBES: Prime Minister, Minister of Finance, and Minister of External Affairs. SIR JOSEPH WARD: . „ Member of the Executive Council (without portfolio). THE HON. E. A. RANSOM: Minister of Lands and Commissioner of State Forests. . THE HON. W. A. VEITCH: Minister of Railways. SIR A. NGATA: Minister of Native Affairs. THE HON. J. G. COBBE: Minister of Justice, Minister of Defence, and Minister of Marine. THE HON. H. ATMORE : Minister of Education. THE HON. W. B. TAVERNER: Minister of Public Works, and Minister of Transport. THE HON. P. A. DE LA PERRELLE: Minister of Internal Affairs, Minister of Industries, and Minister of tihe Publicity and Tourist Departments. THE HON. J. B. DONALD: Postmaster-General and Minister of Customs. THE HON. A. J. STALL WORTHY: Minister of Health. THE HON. A. J. MURDOCH: Minister of Agriculture and Minister of Mines. THE HON. S. G. SMITH: Minister of Labour. SIR T.
