WEDDING

FOWLER—TRENT The Cathedral was prettily 'decorated with belladonna lilies, hydrangeas and asters on the occasion of the marriage of Marjorie Ellen (Birdie), only child of Mr Leslie Trent, to Henry Arthur Douglas, eldest son of Mrs Fowler, of Richmond. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a pretty frock with tight bodice, medici collar and long panels of satin and flared skirt of crepe lie chine; the white tulle veil was held in place by silver hands and orange blossoms. Her bouquet was of lilies and begonias with silver streamers. The bridesmaid? were Miss Joan Tatton, in flock of pink satin and crepe de chine with long flared skirt, and Miss Koni howler, in apricot satin and georgette. Their hats were of silver tissue and they carried posies of dahlias and begonias. Mr Ron. Fowler was best man and Mr Hector Gray groomsman. The bride’s going-away dress was of bottle green jersey cloth with lint to match and dark brown fur coat. They loft for Canterbury via Blenheim.
