RIFLE SHOOTING
NKLSON DEFENCE RIFLE CLUB The monthly meeting of the executive committee of the Nelson Defence ItiMo Club was held on Monday evening, the president, Mr I l '. Shark'unl, presiding over a good attendance of members.
Accounts wcro passed for payment and the question of procuring a new telephone lo replace the one lost in the fire at Quarantine Range was left to the, secretary and president. The following shoots were decided upon:—•
26th -April, seven shots over 300, 500, and 600 yards range at Wakapuaka. Trophy shoot. 3rd May, Seven shots over 500 and 1)00 yards range. Trophy shoot. It was decided that no shoot he held on Easter Saturday, 19th April. It was decided that the Wastney (.hip competition finish with tie shoot on IUI.Ii April.
