N.S. WALES COAL INDUSTRY

COMMISSION'S REPORT

RECOMMENDATIONS CRITICISED

(United Press Association—By Elcctrio Telegraph—Copyright)'

(Received 2nd Agril, 8.55 a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day,

Colliery proprietors entirely disagree with the Coal Commission's recommendation for the appointment of a board of three to control the coal industry. They claim that it would involve the creation of a huge bureaucracy, saddling the industry with enormous annual cost. Moreover/ artificial regulation and interference would accentuate the present difficulties.

Miners' representatives and union officials generally state that the commission's recommendation for licensing employees would not be tolerated for a moment.

The Premier informed Parliament that the commission's report would in due course be debated in the assembly.
