NELSON MINISTERS' ASSOCIATION
ANNUAL MEETING
The annual meeting of llic Nelson Ministers' Association was held on Monday, when the Rev. I>. MoCosh, M.A., of'Trinity Church, was re-elected president, anil Pastor .1. C. Macky of the Baptist Church was circled secretary in place (if the Rev. .). 11. llaslam, who leaves shortly to take up duty as secretary to the Methodist Conference.
It 'was arranged to hold a comhincd service in the Baptist Church on Good Friday, Pastor .Macky to preside and dispense the Sacrament, ami the Rev. 1). McCosh to preach the sermon. Jt was also agreed to hold a combined service in Trinity ( hurch'on I he evening of An/.ac Day at which an appropriate address would he given by the Rev. R. S. Rollings. The opportunity was taken of saying farewell to the Rev. .1. 11. Uaslam and of bidding him Cod speed in the new work to which he had been called. Mr Haslum has been a faithful member of the Association duriilg his brief stay in Nelson and will he. 'greatiy missed by his brethren.
