PALMERSTON N., This Day
Building returns for the year ending to-day show that the total, value of permits was £335,190 exceeding the previous peak year (1926-27) by nearly £15,000, and being an increase over last year's permits of nearly £60,000. During tho year 182 new dwellings were erected, an increase of 4,8 over the previous similar period.
