SKIN SALES Dalgcty and Co., Ltd., Wellington, reported under date 28th March: — The usual fortnightly sale of sheepskins, hides, tallow and sundries was held this afternoon at the Dominion Farmers' Institute. We offered a medium sized catalogue of all grades and descriptions to a full representation of buyers. Sheepskins: In sympathy with the London sales held on the 20th hist., all grades showed a decline of Id per 11). Damaged and inferior parcels Id to l : ]d lower. Salted skins were ill fair demand, and showed a corresponding decline. Hides: Some good lines of abattoir ox and cow were submitted, values being somewhat irregular, and there was a further easier tendency in well conditioned parcels of all weights.
