The Nanking Government's plans for over coming the rebellion of Feng Yulisiiiiif,' and Yen Hsi-shan were eventually made known us the result of an agreement readied willi General Chang lisne-liiiiig. the Mukden war lord, by which it is reported that Nanking agrees to furnish Chang with one and a half million dollars monthly, and unlimited supplies of arms and ammunition, provided that the Fengtien forcea undertake to attack Yea Hsi-shan in the rear.
Until now Chang's attitude in the present conflict lias proved a stumbling block, both sides seeking .Mukden's support. Now the atmosphere lias cleared Chang agreeing to despatch three divisions against Peking while Chiang Kai-shek proceeds to Hsuchow tc make a frontal attack.
