EXHIBITION IN LONDON

“BEST EVER SEEN”

PRESENTATION TO PRIME MINISTER’S DAUGHTER

(United Press Association—By Eleotrio Telegraph—Copyright) LONDON. 26th March. At the opening of the apple season at New Zealand House Mrs Wilford presented Miss Islibel MacDonald with a basket of fruit. The latter, accepting the fruit on behalf of her father, remarked: “If they are as good as they look, then they are marvellous. To-morrow will see the rare occurrence of the whole of the MacDonald family dining at Downing street, when they'will share the apples.” Traders refer to the exhibition of apples as the best ever seen.
