THEFTS BY ESCAPED PRISONER

WELLINGTON, This Dav. After having escaped from prison on 19th March a young Maori, John Tahu Andrews (19), broke into several houses, stealing various articles and money. He was recaptured to-day and at Court pleaded guilty to four charges of breaking and entering and theft, involving £l2 15s in articles and money, He was remanded for sentence.
