DISSATISFIED LIBERAL WISHES TO JOIN CONSERVATIVES OUT-OF-DATE FISCAL POLICY. (United Press Association—By Eleotrio Tolegraph—Copyright) LONDON, 22nd March. Commoner Captain F. E. Guest has written to Mr Baldwin announcing his desire to join the Conservatives. He says: "For some time past I have found increasing difficulty for the Liberals under the present leadership to maintain their past high tradition and principles. I am also wondering whether fiscal and economic systems based on facts a quarter of a century old are no longer unchallengeable. I sincerely believe that the policy of which you are a protagonist is the only one giving security to the working class conditions in Britain and the consistent pursuit of a national imperial as against a. class policy." Mr Baldwin replied cordially welcoming Captain Guest.
