RE-MARRIAGE OF WAR WIDOWS
SAVING IN PENSIONS
LONDON, 19th March
The [Minister of Pensions, in answer to a question, said that 111,000 pensioned war widows re-married and their pensions consequently were discontinued, resulting in a total saving of £8,010,000.
