NEW ZEALAND TEAM FOR EMPIRE GAMES

CHRISTCHURCH, This Day

At a meeting of the Canterbury centre of the New Zealand Swimming Association it was decided tn support a proposal to send swimmers to the Empire Games in Canada. No guarantee of funds was given, but the Centre decided to reply to the New Zealand Swimming Association’s inquiry on the subject that it would do everything possible to raise the necessary funds, and was confident of success.
