CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. The New Zealand team for the third test at Auckland is,as follows:—Lowry, Dempster, James, McGirr, Badcock, Blunt, Merritt, Alcott, Mills, Weir and Gillespie as twelfth man.

Oscar Ase.ie. m an article in the "Star," criticising the election of only fifteen for the Australian test team, savs : "It is not a mistake, but disgraceful meanness and crass stupidity. The gentlemen responsible should have their statues by Epstein erected on the Sydney and Melbourne grounds as sanctuaries for sparrows and butts for the ribaldry of barrackers."
