A FAILURE
BROADCASTING IN INDIA (United Press Association—By Electrio ( Telegraph—Copyright) DELHI, Ist February. The Indian Broadcasting Company is going into voluntary liquidation at "the end of February. During the past three years the company has spent five lakhs of rupees in e,xcess of its income, in addition to the capital on plant. The failure is attributed to the refusal of listeners to take out licenses and the difficulting in arranging programmes to suit both Europeans and Indians, and the interference of atmospherics, causing faulty wireless reception.
