TELEGRAPH COMMUNICATION LOST
Just before ‘The Mail” went to .press 'to day it was reported! from 'the Telegraph Office that telephonic communication with Murchison had been lost lignin. The telegraph line is still intact. FROM POSTMASTER A belated report from the Post mast «;• at Murchison is as follows Murchison, 11 a.in.: “Rivers slightly above normal. No cause for alarm.” MORE REFUGEES Latest information is that about 70 refugees are leaving Murchison, this afternoon. Mr B. F. Spiers, who is in charge of the .refugees and t heir transportation to Glen hope, considers lie, \viJJ be able to negotiate the slip all right and get the passengers through.
