S.M., Thomas Clark, a Maori, was fined £lO, in default fourteen days- imprisonment and had his license cancelled for two years, for being intoxicated in charge of a motor cycle. Defendant was' riding on ■Whaka road and the inspector’s speedometer registered 70 1 m.p.li. in overhauling him.
