An alarming outbreak of typhoid fever has occurred in the Lidcombe, Auburn, and Granville districts during the past few weeks. It is attributed by tlie Health Department, to the employment at the local dairy of men who, it is alleged, had typhoid. Fifty-seven cases have been reported since the beginning of the outbreak, and one death has been recorded.
