THE KING
DOCTOR'S FAVOURABLE REPORT (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Gopyright) Press Association) LONDON, 29th March. A bulletin states that the King continues to make satisfactory progress. Despite tiresome rheumatism in the right shoulder his weight is increasing, his appetite is returning, and his sleep is of better quality. The doctor's insistence on lengthy abstention from all except essential" public duties, and quiet life in the present suitable climate, is being justified in the steady improvement of His.: Majesty's bodily and mental vigour. LISTENS TO BAND CONCERT LONDQN, 30th March. Sitting in an overcoat behind screens on the lawn at Craigwell House amid the Royal suite the King listened in the forenoon to the Army Military Band's recital. A great crowd of the public listened from the beach, a police cordon preventing approach *n the house. His .Majesty, learning of the disappointment, allowed people to come to the sea wall, whence they could plainly see him in an armchair chatting with the Archbishop of Canterbury. After the conceit the King approached the sea wall and raised his hat to the people.
