TOWN' BOARD .MEETING At a meeting o.i the Tahunanui Town Hoard in the. Town Hall, there were present Messrs F; W. Greenslade (chairman), C. I. L. Bell, C. Cunningham, .). L 0. Day, L. Ingham, and M. O'Sullivan. .Mr Hobern was granted leave of absence. Accounts amounting to £7<\ 14» 5,| were passed for payment. Tllrt Hoii. H. Atmorc wrote advising that it will he another two or three weeks before the plans for tar-sealing the Main Highway through Tahunanui are ready. The Taburia Sands Association asked permission to rope off Beach road from the waiting shed to Moana Street on Easter Monday. This was granted under previous conditions. The. Nelson Citv Council advised the Board that the Council has granted the dedication of a portion of land at the Sands Reserve for the. purpose of. making a chain road. on" conditions that the Board-pays all costs that maybe incurred u: transferring the kind. Tin; following resolutions were passed : Thai. ,(he repairs to flaming Coif Road be left to Xl'r O'Sullivan and the Town Clerk to deal with; that the. Nelson City Council lie thanked for the dedication of land.
