In the Supreme Court Mr Justice Blair passed sentences as follows: — Arthur Cook, for breaking and entering and theft at Oliaupo, to six months’ imprisonment; Dan O’Regan for forging cheques at Morrinsville, three years’ probation. NEW PLYMOUTH SENTENCES NEW PLYMOUTH, 2nd March. At the Supreme Court this morning Mr Justice Smith imposed sentences as follows: William Draper, on eight charges of forging and uttering, to reformative detention for one year; IJrnest Frederick Loesch, for carnal knowledge to two years’ reformative detention; Stanley William Roy Chafltergee, for indecent assault, to three years’ hard labour; William Joseph" Badley, for theft as a servant and failure to account for moneys, to reformative detention for one year; Robin. Douglas Bloor, for carnal knowledge, to four months’ imprisonment. Oswald Henry Parker and Archibald William Parkes were dealt with on one charge of attempted breaking and entering and theft, and four charges of breaking and entering and theft. Parker was sentenced to three years at a Borstal institution and Parkes to two years at a Borstal institution. John Joseph Herbert Rush, for breaking and entering and theft (two charges) was so fence 1 to one year’s imprisonment on each, to he concurrent.
