MOTH ’PLANE CRASHES

TWO ATEN KILLED

(United Press Association.—By Electrio Telegraph.—Copyright.)

SYDNEY, 11th February

A gypsy Moth ’plane travelling from Melbourne to Sydney crashed near Goulburn to-day and the occupants. Captain Cornish, (owner), and G. K. Wride, were killed. They had landed at Qpulburn for breakfast and were advised not to continue owing to low clouds making flying dangerous as the locality was heavily timbered. It is surmised that they struck a tree top. The ’plane was seen to crash by the driver of a- passing train, which stopped. Alen rushed to the scene and extricated the airmen, from the wreckage. One was dead and the other died in a few minutes. Both deceased were motor traders.

Wride was an employee of Dalgety and, Company.
