THE GOOD TEMPLARS

NELSON AND TAHUNA The weekly session of the Hope of Tahnna Temple was held in the hoy*' chili room Talmna, presided over by the superintendent Bro. T. Sonierville. Further arrangements were made for the prize distribution, concert and social to he held ill the Taliuuaniii Town Hall on Friday evening. The superintendent urged oil' all members of the temple to attend next session, and the concert the following evening. A very pleasant evening was spent in several games of quoits, the finals being won by Bro. George Day and Bro. Oscar Eves. A surprise packet was also provided, this falling to Bro. Allan Smallbone. On Saturday evening the Hope of Nelson Temple session was held in the Rechabites' Hall, presided over by chief templar, Sis. Joan Mitchell. The superintendent., Bro. 8., Watson, made several presentations to members won at recent recitation and other competitions. It was announced that next session would be Christmas carols, and distribution of lollies, etc. The weekly session of the Loyal Nelson Lodge' was held following that of the temple presided over by chief templar Bro. T. Somerville. The item for next session was announced as "N'ew Year resolutions; -what shall they be?" for which all members were urged to attend, and assist in planning for a great advance during the coming Tear.
