Demand very quiet and prices unchanged to slightly easier. Hemp.— Manila market better tone and more trade interest, shown. Closing value for December/Februarv shipments
“J” grade £35. Sisal: Market linn with buyers at £39 for No. 1 in any position lintit April/June shipment, and No. 2 £36 15s. New Zealand: Market unchanged. Small business doing, principally "alloat, at high-points £33 15s, fair £3O 10s. common £29. Stocks in Great Britain on 31st October, 51 tons against 88 tons same time hist year. Tow quiet, and little offering. Values unchanged. Wool.—Sales continue satisfactory with brisk demand. Prices sliow hardening tendency, especially for merino. SYDNEY WOOL SALES United D ress Association —By Electrio Telegraph—Copy richt SYDNEY, 26th November. At the wool sales, 12,007 bales wero sold. All fine wools were in keen demand at full late rates. Skirtings were very firm. There was a strong demand for lambs’ wool and crossbreds. Greasy merino fleece sold to 30id.
