WQNDERFUL RECEPTION AT SUVA United Press Association—Bv Electrio Telegraph—Copyright Australian Press Association.—United Service (Received 24th November, 9.15 a.m.) SUVA, This Day. Cardinal Cerretti, Papal Legate, who arrived by the Aorangi, had a wonderful reception from the largest cosmopolitan crowd that has ever gathered on Suva wharf. He was entertained at dinner by the Catholic Young Men’s Society. The Governor of Fiji, the Mayor of Suva, the Chief Justice, Colonial Secretary, Bishop Nicolas of Fiji, the Bishop of Tonga, and all Suva’s principal citizens were present. The Cardinal afterwards attended service at the Cathedral. He received addresses of welcome and then witnessed native ceremonies by Fijians, Samoans, Wallis Islanders, and Gilbert Islanders in the convent grounds, which were specially electrically lit. The weather was perfect.
