PAI.MERSTON N., 21st November. At the Supreme Court, before Mr Justice Smith, Keith Drysdale, aged 19. labourer : Allan Drysdale, aged 18, motor mechanic; James Leonard Webb, aged 20. labourer; Howard Kenneth Strattou. aged 20, farmer;. and William Rikihana, aged 27, stoveman, were sentenced for breaking and entering and theft at Levin.
Keith Drysdale, described as the ringleader, was sentenced to three years" T.orshl detention; Strattou to three years' probation; Allan Drysdale to two years' probation ; Webb to three years' probation, and Rtkihana 1o two years' reformative treatment. An order was made for the restitution of the stolen property, and the payment of the cost of prosecution.
