Mystery surrounds the disappearance of Mrs Maud Hill, who failed to return 1.0 her home at Paddington from the city, where she was employed. The woman was living apart from her husband, and had been bravejy maintaining a home for four children, the eldest of whom was 13 years old. The children on Friday night went to bed disconsolately in 'life absence of their mother. Their plight soon became known, and inquiries started. The missing woman is attractive, and there is nothing to suggest foul play. The opinion is expressed that she may have lost her memory.
