NELSON CITY ASSOCIATION SENIOR FIXTURES FOR SATURDAY ' Wakatu v. Old Bovs. at Bark. College v. Athletic at College. The College v. Old Boys game commenced last Saturday will he concluded nt a later elate as it is inadvisable at the present stage to have two learns standing down while the College v. Old Boys match is concluded, as I here are two important representative fixtures to be played early in December. The first representative untied is the Jlawke Cup preliminary match against .Marlborough on the 30(1] November and Ist December, and the other a Newman Shield game against Wnimea on th_e 14t.h and 15th December. Players will therefore require all the cricket they can get during the next fortnight. JUNIOR FIXTURES Hospital v. Old Boys at Stoke. Tahuna v. P. and T. at Tahuna. Y.M.C.A. v. College at Vanguard-st. Athletic v. Wakatu at Park. REPRESENTATIVE TRIAL TO-MORROW Owing to the late start with competitions and the fact that two representative matches are close at hand the selectors are taking advantage of the compulsory half holiday to-morrow to play a representative trial at the Park to-morrow at 2 p.m. Form in this and next Saturday's games will have an important bearing on the players' chances in the representative games, and every chosen player is therefore urged to attend. Any'unable to play should notify the Association immediately : Following are the teams: Probables:—Kemnilz, St. John, Searell, Ralfe,' Langbein, Wallace, Hull, Hurst, Betts, Gray, R. Fowler, Simpson, Nairn. Possibles: —Neale, Newman, Jones, Patterson, Kinzett. Coombs. Mollwraith, Blincoe, Thomas, Hawksworth, Marshall, D. Fowler, .Nightingale.
