FOOTFALL ON THE TRACKS
By Telegraph—Special to "The Mail")
CHRISTCHURCH, 29th October* « Footfall was out " at"" IKcc^rfeo'B;2tli§ morning, and was given steady pace work on the sand. He looked, bright and well, without any evidence- -6f-'lameness. His'trainer, G. Murray Aynsley, is of the opinion that his.trouble is not serious, but it would have been risking a breakdown to have gone on with his preparation. Although he appears to-be all right now, it is.doubtful if he will be raced at the Riccarton.carnival, but, his.; trainer hopes to have the Autumnus gelling going at his best for other engage*; ments later in the season. -' ,ss£
