HINKLER IN ENGLAND

LONDON, 25th October, Hinkler won a game of hide and seek when the Orama anchored at Plymouth. Half a dozen journalists went to his cabin and found his wife, who assured them that Bert would be back in aminute or two. The pressmen hunted every corner of the ship till the gangway was on the point of rising and could not find their quarry, who, according to passengers, was most quiet and retiring for the whole.voyage. THE GRAF ZEPPELIN WASHINGTON, 25th October. News from Lakehurst states tnat passengers are prepared, as the Graf Zeppelin, awaits a favourable wind, to commence a mid-western tour to various cities, among which are Detroit," St. Louis, and Chicago, but Eckener wishes to make a brief tour, return to New York and hop off for Germany early next week.
Nearly all the passengers have been chosen for the trans-Atlantic trip, many of whom came here with the dirigible. Elaborate "catering and other arrangements have been made for the passengers' comfort on the western tour.
NEW YORK-LOS ANGELES FLIGHT

(Received 26th October, i 2.55 p.m.) LOS ANGELES, 25th October. The monoplane, Yankee Doodle, with Captain R. C. Col Iyer as pilot, and Harry Tucker, the owner, completed a record trans-continental flight ,from New York this afternoon in 24 hours 55 minutes.
