CRITICISM OF OPPONENTS WELLINGTON, This Day. The Hon. R. A. Wright, .Minister of Education, opened his campaign last night and traversed tlie proposals of the Government’s opponents. Of Sir Joseph Ward lie said that wild cat schemes should find no place in the history of New Zealand, nor should they' be adopted by tlie people of any country. As to Air Holland, he said that that- gentleman was sent by his party to tlie Australian Labour Congress, , which admitted Communists to affiliation, and Air Holland was appointed a member of its council of action, along with Mr Garden, the Communist. Air Holland should take a little of liis own medicine before chiding Air Coates for comparing New Zealand and Australia.
Air Wright received a vote of thanks and confidence. WELLINGTON NORTH
-Sir John Luke also started his campaign for Wellington. North. He urged the electors to have nothing to do with the parties trying to upset tlie good Government they had had for 16 years. He received a vote of confidence.
