GIFT OF HISTORIC CUP
TO AUCKLAND RACING CLUB (By Telegraph—Special to "The Mail") AUCKLAND, This Day. An historic massive Silver Cup has been purchased in London by Air At. Davis for presentation to the Auckland Pacing Club, according to advice given in a letter by Mr H It. McKenzie. at present abroad. The cup was once the properly of Queen Victoria. It is described by Mr McKenzie as a very beautiful work. The Racing Club has not yet been officially advised of the impending gift.
