NEGOTIATIONS WITH NANKING GOVERNMENT

Mukden despatches suggest that the Manchurian. leaders are on ', the point of declaring affiliation with the Nanking Government, though no hint is given regarding the compromise terms. The Japanese attitude at first was strongly hostile to such affiliation, but now is much more, conciliatory, indicating that Japan had received a satisfactory assurance that her acquired rights in Manchuria would not bel subject to radical interference.
