PALMERSTON N., This Day. The minor unions’ match North v. South Island was a very one-sided af- ■ North were without Nepia, Mill anil Robinson, but ijyere so superior as to make a runaway game of it. Playing with the sun and a strong wind in their favour they put on 25 to 0 in the first spell. With the help of the wind South did little better, North adding 14 more points to two unconverted tries. OTHER RESULTS Wellington:—Senior A. —Poneke 17, Oriental 6; University 30, Marist 0; Petone 6, Old Boys-11; Eastbourne. 6, Wellington 12; Athletic 14, Berhampore 11. At Auckland King’s College 16, defeated Mt. Albert Grammar 10. Auckland 12, Canterbury 10. Otago 16, Marlborough 6. Wanganui 22, Manawhenua 6.
