Zealand cruiser Diomede, which had been paid off, was partly recommissioned on 19th June. She is at present refitting pending the receipt ot the remainder" of her complement, bne leaves Portsmouth for New Zealand via Panama on 4th September, arriving in the middle of November. Repairs to submarines v Otway and Oxley at the Malta dockyard should be completed by Bth September and are expected to be seaworthy ,early in, November. ' ___■'',:.
