(Received 16th July, 11.35 a.m.) LONDON, 15th July. The "Daily News'? Geneva correspondent says that a tragedy occurred in tho Zermatt district, Switzerland, the worst in 25 years, four people being killed. Watchers from an hotel on Gornergrat witnessed every phase. It was even possible, through a telescope, to observe tho alpenstocks in the snow and trace the blood where tiie climbers had fallen. Tho victims were French tourists named Lc Becque, Degigora, Guilbert and Longblois. They' started early on Friday to climb Breithorn, and remained for hours on a spot some distance up. Finally they made a supreme effort to reach the summit. The first man lost his footing, and fell 1000 feet into a crevasse, dragging two companions. The fourth soon disappeared into an abyss. Relief columns immediately searched and found all dead.
