MADRID, 14th July. General de Rivera returned and was questioned by journalists regarding the plot to assassinate the King and himself. He said that the whole business was finished. Small groups tried to stir up trouble in Barcelona, Valencia and other districts jn connection with the inauguration of the new Canfranc tunnel in the Pyrenees, but were speedily crushed, and their ringleaders were now iu custody.
