ACCIDENT AT RAILWAY CROSSING
A FARMER KILLED

HAWERA, This Day. At 0 o'clock on Saturday night the Express from Wellington collided with a horse-drawn waggon driven by George Appleyard, farmer, of Hawera, at a lovel crossing close to Hawera station. Appleyard died before reaching the Hospital.
