Ladies: Rewa 6, Moutere 0. lirightwater 5, Te Katoa 1. 'Hie men's senior and junior cJub games .wore suspended on Saturday to permit of representative trial games. The senior team which played Canterbury played the next best eleven, find the probable junior representatives were tried out against a. team of young senior players. Both games were keenly contested, all players seeming anxious to impress the selectors in view of matches against Wellington. The Wairnai team journeyed to Blenheim and played a Blenheim eleven. SENIOR MATCH "A" TEAM v. "B" TEAM •H. Whitwell ("A") secured from the bully and sent Kelly away, the latter carrying play to the' circle* Geo. Frost cleared well. Nairn was then prominent, hut Reg. Frost secured and sent the "B" forwards away, but Hawke and Gibbs defended well. Whitwell, Kelly and Nairn (A team) combined in a passing rush, which was pulled up by an infringement. A dash by Mcßride and a good pass to Burns saw the latter send in a hot shot, which Gibbons stopped. Mcßride, Hawthorne and Burns again carried play into the circle, but Gibbs cleared. "A" forwards then made a combined attack and If. Whitwell scored.
"'A" Team 1, "B" Team 0. A period of fast even play followed both sets of forwards putting in good work. A pretty passing rush between Burns, Hawthorne and Mcßride ended in the latter evening the scores. "A" 1, "B" 1. "A" team retaliated and H. Whitwell again scored with n clever stroke.
"A" 2, "B" 1. Mcßride changed into the "A" team during second half, and was immediately prominent with a great run, enabling IT. Whitwell to secure an easy goal. "A" 3, "B" 1. Best dashed through and passed to Mcßride, who transferred to Whitwell, and the latter scored his fourth goal. "A" 4, "B" 1. "A" team held the. upper hand for a time, but a series of attacks by the "B" team ended in Nairn scoring from a good pass by Burns. "A" 4, "B" 2. Strenuous play followed until the final whistle sounded.

JUNIOR REPRESENTATIVES V .SENIOR "C"
The Juniors attacked from the opening bully, the Seniors conceding a corner, Chapman's shot being well stopped by Louis. The Seniors then asserted themselves, Morcom, Gilbert, and E. Best' being prominent, and the latter scored. Seniors 1, Juniors 0. Seniors continued to press, Spencer putting in some good defence, Quinton, however, found the net. Seniors 2, Juniors 0. The reverses stirred the Juniors, who strove hard to score, but Louis in goal made some great saves. Half time was called without further alteration. The Junior team showed better combination in the spell, and soon took the offensive, A. Toms opening their scoring account. Seniors 2, Juniors 1. The Juniors still kept the upper hand, and Chapman sent in a hot shot, which evened the scores. Two all. Play became very keen and fast, each side' striving hard to obtain a deciding goal, but time was called with honours even. The referee's were Messrs Kinzett and Webb.
LADIES' MATCHES
REWA 6, MOUTERE 0
Although several players short, Rewa had no difficulty in disposing of Moutere. The feature of the game was the brilliant exhibition by Miss Beuke in goal for Moutere, especially in the first spell. Rewa forwards bombarded her with shots, but. time after time clever saves were made by feet, stick or band. Miss K. Smith (5) and Miss J. Boyce (1) were the scorers for Rewa. Messrs Miller and R. Whitwell refereed.
BRTGHTWATER 5, v. TE KATOA 1
Those teams met in their return match at the Botanical Reserve, the game being much more even than tho ( score indicated. Mrs Goodess and Miss B. Greig were prominent in the Brightwater forward line, while Miss E. Page was noticeable for good defence for To Katoa. Mrs Webb and Misses Stewart and Scully strove hard in the forwards, and 'Miss Sowman played well at full back. Goals for Brightwater were secured bv Mrs Goodess (2), H. Page. (2) and F. 'Schroder (1). Miss R. Scully secured Te Katoa's goal. Messrs Miller and Pauling refereed. FIXTURES FOR SATURDAY SENIOR Kiwi v. Moutere, No. 2 ground, '2.45. Federal v. Waimai, ,NV> 1 ground, 2.45.
