It is understood that the tree had to be jacked up before the unfortunate man could bn extricated. Mr do 800 was taken to the Wairau Hospital, where it was found that he was suffering from a crushed ankle and bruises to the body. He has undergone two operat ions, and it is anticipated that he will make a good recovery.
