WELLINGTON FIGURES

(By Telegraph—Preßß Association) WELLINGTON, 13th July. Vital statistics for June show that the total live births registered for urban areas amounted to 930, as against 1099 in May, a decrease of 119. Deaths in June ..were 532, an increase of 37 as compared with the previous month. Of the total deaths males contributed 287 and females 245. Sixty-two of the deaths were children under 5 years of age, being 11.61 per cent, of the whole number; 52 of these were under one year of age.
